{"id":5044,"date":"2024-10-03T07:20:35","date_gmt":"2024-10-03T07:20:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/restaurantnews.co.uk\/?p=5044"},"modified":"2024-10-03T07:20:35","modified_gmt":"2024-10-03T07:20:35","slug":"aa-hospitality-awards-winner-aa-rosettes-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/restaurantnews.co.uk\/?p=5044","title":{"rendered":"AA Hospitality Awards winner AA Rosettes 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Five restaurants received four AA Rosettes, including Restaurant 1890 by Gordon Ramsay, Bybrook at The Manor House Hotel, and Lumiere. <\/p>\n<p>The awards ceremony took place last night (23 September) at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House and aimed to showcase the finest in British hospitality, celebrating accomplishments across 16 award categories.<\/p>\n<p>Tom Aikens, chef of Muse, was honored as Chefs\u2019 Chef of the Year, while the AA Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Adrian Ellis MI FIH, the former general manager of the Lowry hotel in Manchester. Sue Williams, former general manager of Whatley Manor, received the AA\u2019s Outstanding Contribution Award.<\/p>\n<p>Aikens expressed his excitement, stating, \u201cThere was such an amazing group of chefs up for this award. It\u2019s truly incredible to have actually won it. It\u2019s not just about me; it\u2019s about the whole team. I\u2019m absolutely thrilled, it\u2019s fantastic.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Simon Numphud, managing director of AA Media, remarked, \u201cThis incredible celebration is a true testament to the strength and innovation within our industry. The dedication and excellence demonstrated by all the hospitality teams have been nothing short of inspiring.
