The restaurant held its final service on Saturday, October 12.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>The luxury Lancashire hotel, Northcote Manor, is now on the market. Savills is handling the sale of the Ribble Valley property, which features Lisa Goodwin-Allen\u2019s Michelin-starred Northcote restaurant, with no listed guide price. According to its Rightmove listing, Northcote Manor generated over \u00a36.5 million in turnover in 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Shabir Hussain, known as the \u2018king of curry,\u2019 has sadly passed away at the age of 56. He was the founder of the Akbar\u2019s restaurant group, which operates 10 locations across northern England, the Midlands, and Scotland. In tribute, all restaurants within the group have temporarily closed and will reopen for dinner on October 18.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Chef Adam Handling aims to secure a second Michelin star for his Covent Garden restaurant, Frog by Adam Handling, by 2026. At OpenTable\u2019s Hospitality Summit in London, he outlined a long-term strategy to impress Michelin inspectors, designating the upcoming year as a transformative time for the establishment.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Honest Burgers plans to relaunch its restaurant near London\u2019s Liverpool Street Station later this year as the inaugural site of its new smash burger quick-service restaurant brand. The location will be converted into a Smashed by Honest \u2018pop up\u2019 with an anticipated launch in late November or early December.
