Motcombs, the beloved neighborhood restaurant that first opened in Belgravia in 1982, is excited to announce the launch of its second location in St John’s Wood, which will debut in early October.

The new 3,000 sq ft restaurant will be located on Circus Road, just off the high street, featuring 80 seating spaces, a standalone bar with eight stools, and a covered outdoor terrace accommodating 16 guests. This site will maintain the warm, familiar “home away from home” ambiance of Belgravia, enhanced with a modern contemporary design. Upon entering, visitors will be greeted by two ornate chandeliers in the front dining room, complemented by a traditional wooden and marble-topped bar. The decor will showcase Motcombs’ passion for art, featuring a collection of paintings throughout the venue.

The Head Chef of Motcombs Belgravia, Veronica Pestana, who has been with the restaurant for over a decade, will oversee the menu development and the opening of St John’s Wood. The restaurant will serve breakfast through dinner, offering a menu that honors traditional British, European, and Asian favorites made with carefully sourced seasonal ingredients, along with an exclusive New York-style pizza menu specifically for the St John’s Wood location.

Ross Anderson, Owner of Motcombs, stated: “After more than 40 years in Belgravia, we are delighted to be opening the doors to our second restaurant in St John’s Wood. We hope to become another local favorite in our new north London neighborhood, offering the same warm and familiar charm. Whether you are visiting for breakfast, afternoon cocktails, or a celebratory dinner, Motcombs is a place for everyone, and we look forward to welcoming you through our St John’s Wood doors.”
