The first three people in line will win free chicken sandwiches for a year.

Popeyes UK has announced the opening of its new Wakefield Drive-Thru restaurant on 7 October.

This brand new American fried chicken restaurant will be situated at Snowhill Retail Park, marking Popeyes’ 19th opening in 2024 and its 58th overall in the UK, as part of a plan to launch 30 new locations this year.

Leading up to the opening, chicken enthusiasts can sign up via the Popeyes UK website for a chance to win one of the famous chicken sandwiches on opening day.

The first three customers in line, whether on foot or in vehicles, will receive free chicken sandwiches for an entire year.

Furthermore, the first 100 customers will be given a free chicken sandwich along with exclusive Popeyes UK merchandise.

Additionally, a breakfast menu will be available starting 8 October, featuring items like the cajun roll, cajun hash browns, and Nutella-topped buttermilk biscuits.

Breakfast will be served daily from 8 AM to 11 AM, with a breakfast meal priced at just £1.99, which includes a breakfast roll with herby chicken sausage, a cajun hash brown, and a drink.
