centre:mk, one of the UK’s top 10 retail and leisure destinations, has announced partnerships with four leading national and multinational food and beverage brands. Bill’s and Chaiiwala are making their city debuts, Cornish Bakery will open regionally for the first time, and Starbucks is set to relocate and expand its presence in this flourishing locale.

Bill’s restaurant group will occupy a prominent 3,500 sq ft unit at the corner of Queens Court and Silbury Arcade. This location marks the first of several planned openings across the UK after a successful year for the chain. The restaurant is scheduled to launch in November and will feature a diverse menu showcasing day-to-night options, including popular pancakes and burgers, alongside a variety of vegan and gluten-free dishes.

Independent bakery Cornish Bakery is making its regional debut at the 2,650 sq ft site on Deer Walk, offering an array of artisan foods, including its famous handmade Cornish pasties, ethical coffee from B-Corp certified Union Coffee, and a selection of creative pastries.

Starbucks, a long-standing tenant of centre:mk, is investing further in the destination by relocating to a larger 2,800 sq ft space located across from Bill’s. The new Starbucks, set to open in the upcoming months, will provide an expanded selection of ethically sourced coffees, pastries, sandwiches, and seasonal menu items.

Chaiiwala, known for its Indian street food, will take over the former Starbucks space of 1,748 sq ft on Silbury Arcade. This café will introduce a mix of traditional chai culture and contemporary deli dishes, offering hot and cold drinks, all-day breakfast, wraps, street eats, Bombay bowls, roti, and desserts.

Kevin Duffy, Centre Director at centre:mk, stated, “The addition of these four brands enhances our diverse hospitality offering, making centre:mk a convenient hub for local workers and a delightful spot for visitors to enjoy meals, reinforcing its status as one of the UK’s leading retail destinations.”

Tom James, Managing Director of Bill’s, remarked, “Our team’s hard work is paying off, and we’re excited to expand in Milton Keynes at centre:mk. Our commitment to guest experience drives our growth, and we look forward to this strategic opening.”

Bill’s, Starbucks, Cornish Bakery, and Chaiiwala will be joining an impressive line-up in centre:mk that includes names such as Vietnamese street food group Pho and award-winning restaurant brand Loungers, managed by Cosy Club.

FMX and Time Retail Partners represented centre:mk in these transactions, while Teague and Capital represented Bill’s.
