The Loveable Rogue, Glasgow’s newest and trendiest gastropub, officially opened today in one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods. Expanding the successful Loveable Rogue brand, now present on both the West and East sides of Glasgow, this new Strathbungo location offers a flexible, welcoming, and cozy dining experience for everyone.

Owned by local couple Joe and Amalia Lazzerini, The Loveable Rogue Southside is built around a philosophy centered on food, friends, and family. Passionate about their community, the couple has crafted a homely atmosphere complemented by a seasonal à la carte menu on Nithsdale Road.

The decor reflects the familiar charm of neighborhood hangouts, featuring warm earthy tones, stylish exposed brick, and mosaic ceiling tiles. With a seating capacity of 40, this gastropub exudes character through its rustic wooden floors, decorative picture frames, and a mix of repurposed and new seating arrangements, all illuminated by warm rope lighting. An enclosed outdoor heated area accommodates up to 20 guests, allowing patrons to enjoy the full menu year-round. The Loveable Rogue Southside is also dog-friendly and caters to families.

Each dish on the menu offers a unique twist on classic family favorites and traditional recipes, including options like Ham Hough, Cote de Bouef, Pan Roasted Scallops, Rogues Fish and Chips, Pan Fried Gnocchi, and Monkfish Cheek Scampi. Their Sunday Roast menu is particularly enticing, featuring a delightful selection ranging from traditional Roast Beef with Yorkshire Puddings to modern Sunday roasts. Open from Tuesday to Saturday from 12pm to late for à la carte dining and Sundays from 12pm to 9pm for all-day Sunday roast, this location is set to become a weekend favorite.

Co-owner Amalia Lazzerini shared her excitement:
“With the opening of our third Glasgow location today, The Loveable Rogue continues to grow our restaurant brand in our home city. By combining home-comfort dishes with warm, welcoming service, our new Southside restaurant in the city creates an energetic yet relaxing dining experience for the Strathbungo neighborhood and Southside community."

Bookings are now open at The Loveable Rogue Southside. The restaurant is located at 122-124 Nithsdale Rd, Glasgow G41 5RB. Stay connected with them on Instagram at @theloveablerogue_southside.
