Launched during the pandemic by friends George Hartshorn, Chris Gibson, and Ollie Patterson, the 90-cover venture features an upscale pub menu and has gained popularity for its roasts. The trio explains that despite the pub’s success—situated in a Grade II-listed former horse hospital and stable—the area’s tourist-heavy, seasonal nature has led them to explore new locations for future neighborhood sites that will attract a more local clientele.
In celebration of its final month, The Farrier is offering London’s largest Sunday roast menu, showcasing 10 different options ranging from classic cuts to rare game and poultry. Head chef Jake Perry invites Londoners to savor a final taste of The Farrier before its closure, hinting at more exciting plans ahead.
“We’re incredibly proud of what the team has achieved with The Farrier, particularly launching amidst the pandemic and becoming a cherished part of Camden’s vibrant community,” says Hartshorn. “While it’s bittersweet to close this chapter, we’re eager to rebuild and bring our hospitality offerings to new neighborhoods throughout London.”
The Farrier’s last day of service will be on November 3, and it will maintain its regular lunch and dinner services from Monday to Saturday until that date.
