Chick-fil-A has confirmed the opening of its first UK locations in Belfast, Leeds, Liverpool, and London. The brand plans to establish five restaurants in the UK over the next two years, utilizing both licensed and locally owned models.
Anita Costello, Chief International Officer at Chick-fil-A, Inc., stated, “Serving communities is at the heart of everything we do. We look forward to bringing Chick-fil-A’s delicious food and signature hospitality to Belfast, Leeds, Liverpool, and London, while continuing our long-term investment in the UK. From job creation to supporting local causes, we are excited about the positive impact our first restaurants will have in the communities they serve.”
Most of the new Chick-fil-A restaurants will be managed by local Owner-Operators, who are active small business owners rather than passive investors. These Owner-Operators will handle all daily operations, including hiring and training team members, engaging with customers, building relationships with local organizations, and tailoring philanthropic initiatives to suit community needs.
Chick-fil-A initially announced plans to enter the UK market last year, with a commitment to invest $100 million over the next decade for its expansion.
