Sovereign Centros from CBRE has secured an investment from wagamama, which will be expanding its presence at Festival Place. The center has also announced that Boswells and Heavenly Desserts will be launching later this year.
Boswells will offer a diverse menu from its 4,766 sq ft space, featuring all-day breakfast, salads, toasties, jacket potatoes for lunch, afternoon tea, and quick snacks. It will join wagamama, which plans to upsize its existing unit to 3,900 sq ft, allowing for 46 additional diners.
Heavenly Desserts will also make its debut at the center, introducing its collection of hand-crafted desserts to Basingstoke for the first time. The 1,300 sq ft space opposite Five Guys will serve a variety of cakes, tarts, cheesecakes, crepes, waffles, and beverages like milkshakes, smoothies, and lemonades.
This announcement of three food and beverage deals comes on the heels of the recent opening of Slim Chickens, an American fried chicken restaurant chain that has launched in a 3,503 sq ft unit across from the Festival Square entrance, featuring its menu of fresh, hand-breaded buttermilk-marinated chicken.
