Savills is marketing the Ribble Valley property that includes Lisa Goodwin-Allen’s Michelin-starred Northcote restaurant, with no guide price listed. According to the hotel’s listing on Rightmove, Northcote Manor achieved a total turnover of over £6.5 million in 2023.
Currently, Northcote is owned by Britannia Hospitality, the operator of the Stafford Collection, which purchased the property five years ago.
Craig Bancroft, Northcote’s managing director, stated, “We are looking to move forward with the wider development of Northcote and its facilities. We seek a new long-term investor who wants to take the work The Stafford started to the next level,” as reported to Lancs Live.
The sale follows the announcement of plans earlier this year for a new high-end restaurant to be constructed on Northcote’s grounds and for the existing Michelin-starred restaurant to be remodeled into a more simplistic and affordable brasserie. Both dining establishments will be overseen by Goodwin-Allen.
Bancroft emphasized that the sale will not disrupt the hotel or restaurant’s operations. “All bookings are secure, and the entire team, led by me, executive chef Lisa Goodwin-Allen, and the senior team will continue to uphold our standards and passion, as we look forward to a positive future.”
Currently, Northcote is ranked at number 74 on the National Restaurant Awards Top 100 list.
