Loungers’ total revenues increased by 19.2% to £178.3 million in the first half of the year, following the opening of 17 new locations. The company reported a 4.7% rise in like-for-like sales during this period. As the operator of Lounge, Cosy Club, and Brightside, Loungers indicated that its performance in H1 reflects its ability to consistently outperform the wider UK hospitality market.
Marston’s total retail sales grew by 5.8% for the preliminary period ending on 28 September, with the operator of 1,339 pubs achieving a 4.8% increase in like-for-like sales, surpassing broader market trends. The group noted that both food and drink segments experienced strong momentum, with food sales being particularly encouraging.

In 2023, a SLEV of £838.1 million was recorded, marking a 42% increase from £591 million in 2021, facilitated by the company employing 44% of its workforce within 15 miles of their homes.
Arc Inspirations is set to open a Box venue in Sheffield this November. Situated near Sheffield City Hall, the new venue is part of the ‘Heart of the City’ redevelopment initiative, involving a £2.7 million investment that will create 55 new jobs. The two-floor Box Sheffield will feature 30 large HD TV screens and the largest indoor screen in the city.
