Six finalists competed for the title of Burrito Master 2024 at Tortilla’s Leadenhall restaurant. These finalists represented locations from across the UK, including Manchester, Lincoln, Stratford, Cardiff, Richmond, and Dalston.
In the first round, contestants demonstrated their skills in building and wrapping burritos, followed by creating their ultimate taco in the second round. The third challenge involved designing a burrito bowl that met Tortilla’s standards, culminating in the creation of their own signature dish.
The winner, crowned Tortilla’s Burrito Master of 2024, will receive £1,000 in travel vouchers, exclusive merchandise, and Just Eat takeaway vouchers. The event was judged by Tortilla’s CEO Andy Naylor, Food Director James Garland, and Head of Brand Standards & Compliance Kristal May.
Additionally, Tortilla has launched its first-ever app, featuring a new loyalty program called ‘The Burrito Society.’
