Celebrating Kitchen Porters Year-Round

The growing membership and engagement of the Kitchen Porters Club reflect the industry’s appreciation for kitchen porters. This is highlighted by the diverse winners of the Kitchen Porter of the Month title, who range from Jersey to York and represent various sectors from care catering to fine dining.

Winners of the Kitchen Porter of the Month Award become members of the club and receive a special apron that symbolizes their achievements and affiliation with this exclusive group.

Paul Anderson, Managing Director of Meiko UK and chair of the Kitchen Porter of the Month judging panel, shared his thoughts on this year’s developments: “It’s always a joy to review the submissions for the Kitchen Porters Club Kitchen Porter of the Month competition throughout the year, and even more rewarding to announce the winners. We love seeing kitchen porters and their teams celebrating on social media, and we take great pride in welcoming new members who wear their official Kitchen Porters Club aprons with pride.”
