One of the highlights from wagamama’s new menu is the hot honey fried chicken and hot sweet fried vegan chicken, a bold and spicy-sweet sharing dish that aligns with this year’s food trends. This menu launch is part of their ‘no one way to wagamama’ campaign.
The menu also introduces koko ‘prawn’ crackers, a tasty vegan alternative to traditional prawn crackers, accompanied by vibrant rainbow pickles served in a tangy sweet and sour vinegar sauce.
Additionally, wagamama features a collaboration with Rahel Stephanie, known as Spoons, showcasing crispy sambal fry—a beloved Indonesian-inspired dish. This includes lightly battered chicken or firm tofu coated in garlic and red pepper powder, served alongside mild tomato sambal, pickled slaw, coconut rice, and a chilled turmeric-stained egg, with amai sauce on the side.
On the drinks front, the new cocktail ‘a breakfast in tokyo’ combines sweet and zesty papaya gin with blood orange flavors and yuzu sherbet, topped with organic prosecco. Another addition is the spicy mary, a refreshing twist on the classic cocktail made with haku vodka, tomato juice, soy sauce, teriyaki, and a blend of spices.
Also featured is orange wine, an organic option noted for its light orange hue.
Moreover, wagamama has rolled out a unique loyalty platform, introducing various ambassadors where members can redeem free menu items, access exclusive content, and interact with personalities such as Rahel, Alfie Cooks, and GK Barry.
