Pooley-Tolkien-Williams has spent the last ten years honing their skills in prestigious kitchens such as Sabor, Angler, and Restaurant Sat Bains, while Daisy comes from a branding background.
Penzance Brewing Co. will continue its operations, with The Star Inn expected to reopen ahead of Christmas, featuring a full kitchen in the new year.
The straightforward menu aims to “celebrate locally sourced ingredients” and “honor the pub’s connection to local farmers and fishermen.”
Fish Fridays will focus on the catch of the day, and Sunday Roasts will feature high welfare meats.
Next spring, the culinary offerings will expand, complemented by beers from the brewery.
“We are deeply honored to carry on the legacy established by previous owners Pete and Tracey. We recognize the importance of this brewery and pub to the local community and are dedicated to preserving its essence while introducing fresh ideas for growth and prosperity,” the duo states.
